The hotel was gorgeous, and spotlessly clean, and the location was absolutely perfect and amazing in a very nice area for a motorbike tour. Location: the venue was just next door to the old town centre, the gorgeous old part, free parking, shops and restaurants all quite close by and historic Solsona...

Very nice staff all over the place. Position: in the very nice area, in the heart of the city. Excellent food in the restaurants such as Restaurant el Buffi, located 5 min away.

Fabulous small property. Well heated and modern room facing garden. - Quite comfortable air conditioning, personal safe, and a mini bar. - Incredible central location, close to restaurants, Solsona, Barcelona, and the mountains. - Right in the center.

This is a lovely hotel. Joan and Anselm, the two brothers who run it, could not be more helpful. Helped us park our car, told us good local places to eat, advised us on attractions around the region (of which there are plenty). The rooms and decor are great, breakfast was terrific (quality examples of local fare). Anselm and Joan are happy to have a good chat as well (in French or Spanish. We would highly recommend it.

This hotel was so charming, it was like out of a storybook fairytale. It reminded me of a villa that was occupied by a royal family in days long ago. The antique look of the hotel with it's massive wooden entry door, the stairs winding up to the bedrooms, the woodwork surrounding the doors and chair molding accented the rooms. The drapery and fabrics on the furniture, the marble and tile, the fireplace and the paintings gave you a feel of being in your own chalet. The room also had a large balcony with a view of the river rushing by, so peaceful. The room and bathroom was immaculate and almost sparkled. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good with ample selections. Free parking was available within walking distance. Don't miss staying at this hotel if you have the opportunity. I would love to visit again. Good memories.

This place boasts a fantastic location near Solsona, with easy access to Montserrat within an hour's drive and the city center.

The place had a tasteful decoration and was well heated with modern amenities, and I loved the view of the garden from the balcony.

The hotel is expensive, small, but well situated in the town where there is little choice of hotel. Hotel offers good rooms and a common room. Staff were very helpful and we had a bit of an emergency.

Excellent service & help. Restuarant recommendation [very near] was taken up and really enjoyed at a reasonable price for the meal with with a quality wine. Quiet,comfortable room and bed.Breakfast was very good.Nothing was too much trouble.

parking in locked garage was secure & excellent but maybe expensive at €9 for a night [€5/6 would be encouraging].

The room is reasonably spacious and absolutely perfect, with modern conveniences and a great breakfast. the hotel is centrally located in a gorgeous building in a beautiful area.

This is a small, comfortable hotel well situated in the historic centre of town. The communal sitting room at the top of the hotel is cosy with thoughtful touches such as games and computer connected to internet. Breakfast was exceptionally good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. There is no evening meal option, but there are good places to eat nearby. The hotel is in a very narrow old street, but we did not find it difficult to get our car into the nearby garaging, having pre-booked a space with the hotel.

This hotel was so unusual and beautiful with only 5 rooms, situated in the walled area of the town. Our room had an amazing small patio garden and the room itself was comfortable and very welcoming. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.If you are travelling around in Catalunya and are in the area of Solsona then you should definitely try and book this hotel.

Perfect location, fast and professional staff, unique design, comfortable rooms, free upgrade, super big and comfortable bed.

This hotel met and exceeded all our expectations for comfort, cleanliness, staff, location and value for money. By booking here one would not be disappointed. It is not a business hotel but then one would rarely come here for business anyway. 10/10 for Hotel La Freixera
